ok.. who can recommend a new pair of handlebar grips?
Do you like thin or fat?
Lock on or, erm, non-lock-on?
I like Race Face Good 'n' Evil.
YMMV.
I like a chunkier grip myself, and got a taste for these after they came on a bike...

Good price too.
Lock-ons for the win. I like Odi Ruffians (the same pattern is also available from loads of other brands). Fatter grips aren't necessarily more comfortable but may be good if you have bigger than average hands.
I use Intense Lock-Ons. They've got a really nice semi flange
I have yet to find a chunky enough grip but Lizard Skin Northshore are my current favourites: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=7459
They've got a really nice semi flange
oo-er
the ODI cross trainers feel great especially without gloves but wear pretty quickly

Oury Lock-On currently on all of my bikes. Lovely chunky grips. Get mine from http://www.descent-gear.com/
wors, that is of course the other big benefit of Intense LockOn grips. You can use the words semi and flange regularly.
apparently the cross trainers are good for shock absorbtion too
Bontrager lock ons. Comfy and grippy, even better than a semi flange? 😯
Ritchey WCS foam grips, glue em on, lovely.
Nice flange on those, tails.
