spent a lot of years on ergon grips but i now need some normal grips.

so grippy grips for someone who rides without gloves in the wet.

What's wrong with more Ergons?

Hybrid of Doom sporting (as of yesterday) some bright green SDG lock-ons which feel quite grippy, though I got horrible hand numbness using non-Ergon grips off road.

I paid a lot more than £2 for a pair! 😯

ODI Troy Lee grips back to front with the little flange on the outside. The grippy bit runs better against a glove in reverse, and if all else fails, the little flange stops your hand from coming off entirely. I'm currently running Deathgrips but I'll go back to the ODI's as soon as they are worn out.

I do like how the Deathgrips feel good both with and without gloves - gloveless they don't tear my hands up but I don't struggle to hold on when it's hot or wet. Incidentally, they add 10mm extra total width to your bars.
