I have been a fan of the Green Machine LBS at Horwich near Bolton. Tried to call them today without any success and notice that their website has gone. Does anyone know if they are still in business?
I also found that a new(?) shop has opened just down the road in Adlington called 'Pedals and Spokes' - has anyone had any experience of them?

Great bike shop a bit further up from green machine called horwich service centre, top bloke called Neil works there. He know his stuff.
You do of course mean the shop aka Rebound Suspension...
I have had good service there in the past but a few dodgy reports of late, possibly as a result of taking too much on...

Was in green machine on Saturday..closed Wednesdays and Sundays but as far as I'm aware all is fine.
Ignorant Sod, won't go in green machine again.
I've always found them very good! Suppose there are always exceptions to the rule...

There's a new suspension servicing place in coppull that I might try but I would be interested in knowing which business the dodgy reports refer too ?
Rebound or Horwich Service Centre (same shop) are fantastic.

Hi guys i have just been made aware of this thread.
Just to clear up a bit of confusion (if their is any)
Both Cycle Service Centre and Rebound Suspension share the same building but that is as far as the relationship goes.
Both are individual traders specialising in different areas of bike maintenance.
Please be clear on which business has given unsatisfactory service and for what reasons, both me and Jason (Rebound Suspension) take on board the feedback we receive be it good or bad and we try to make changes accordingly.
As with any industry things do from time to time go wrong but we will always do our best to rectify any mistakes made at no cost to the customer, but we can only address these issues if we hear about them.

I took my Orange Alpine Diva to a fantastic LBS not too far from Horwich or Adlington for a gear service. It's called The Bike Cabin it's in Coppull Mill. The guy who owns it was friendly and knowledgeable and gave me loads of advice. Great price too!
