Well a couple of us managed to get a 'pass out' for the full day. Quite a while since we managed a nice all day ride.

Don't think we could have picked a better day.

Grizedale, Claife Heights, Hawkshead (cafe stop for Tea and carrot cake) and back to the car via the 'riverbed' run and then back to finish on Parkamoor. 3000ft of climbing, fantastic rocky DH and fantastic views.

Excellent. Love riding round there and it looks like you had a great day for it. That view across Wise Een Tarn is one of the best in the Lakes IMO.

If you guys are going out riding of an evening any time soon I might try and join you and get those goggles back if that's ok.

Do you have a link to a map or a description of the route as I want to try to link up grizedale routes with claife heights.

SUNNY SKIES !!!!!

might be OK for October, I'll see what the others think.

I'm not sure what a bleak hillside in Wales in October is going to be like weather wise. Grim I expect. 🙄

Vortex

Another one the route if you'd be so kind. I live just over the lake in bowness and ride Claife & Grizedale regularly. Always looking at new ways to link the trails together.

Are you local?
