I managed to drop the little spring from inside the SQR mechanism from my Carradice Tour saddlebag. Searched the workshop floor but it totally disappeared.
I emailed Carradice to ask them if they sold them as spares and a nice woman called Margaret emailed back to ask me for my posting address and she would post out out to me today free of charge.
It obviously costs them less than about 50p for the stamp, envelope and spring but it has certainly created a good impression. They make great bags to, the SQR Tour is a brilliant bit of kit.
I bought an SQR slim a few yrs ago - I wasn't sure whether to go for the slim or the tour and phoned them up and they couldn't have been more helpful, chatting through seatpost clearance etc - great crowd
As a retailer, I wish they could send out orders, complete and on time...
