How much air is in that shock?
Crest Rims 😕
People overbuild their bikes, a well built set of 32 hole Crests will stand up to a decent amount of abuse.
I used to run crests with no issue at all and this guy rides a lot smoother than me. If you aren't a 200lb heffer.....etc
Classic huck to fault at 3:35 😆
Akrigg called, he wants his video back 😉
needs more bunnies
I like the use of 1980's white socks for the bit on t' moit's. 🙂
The boy clearly has a lot of skill.
Imagine how much better he'd be on a proper trials bike.
Good stuff.
Blimey, I can barely lift the front end of my Five off the ground for a few seconds. Guess it's not the bike then 🙂
was that his girlfriend?
omg bikes are soooooo boring
I can do that bit between 2.20 & 2.44. 😀
The boy can ride. I ride a bit of Trials and getting that kind of stuff out of an Orange 5 is impressive.
Edit... Google tells me he rides Pro Trials, not that impressed anymore.
Jack is a world class trials rider, this is a video of him at last years worlds

Mines the same, been sold a dud.
most impressive skillz 🙂
Aye Jacks pretty big on the world circuit, he's only 18 as well. Won the last round of the UCI World Cup in France http://www.uci.ch/trials/news/article/uci-trials-world-cup-jack-carthy-leads-the-men-elite-inch-series-after-first-victory-the-season/.
Also yes, the girl in the background is his girlfriend!
mtb skills = excellent
editing and filming skills = average
Hopefully we'll see a more polished video of him sometime.

Is it any harder to do this sort of stuff on a Five than on any other full suss bike?
Don't feed the trolls Rover, you know what it's like here!
I follow that exact same routine on my daily commute.

Totally agree - people and bikes in the background (and even foreground) got a bit wearing at times.
Top riding skills though.
I love videos on local trails, you will see the trials lads at Shipley Glen every weekend
Ah, we wondered who'd built a ramp up onto our skip at work, now we know!
Top skills but the camera work and editing aren't up to Akrigg's standards.

Or any other 140mm travel bike. Just that is what he was riding at the time.
{Walks off embarrassed as has the same bike and cannot make it do half the stuff in the video }
I can't make my trials bike do half that stuff either never mind the filing cabinet. The sad thing is that Youtube has desensitized us to riding that really is awesome. If you saw this fellow riding in the flesh I am sure it would make the hairs stand up on your neck. However, other people have slicker production and camera technique which hopefully this guy will either learn or get someone to do for him.
Wishing him well for the UCI in Norway.
