Love it. At first glance looks like it’s been reclaimed from a skip, then you remember Grayson used to race at Beastway and look a bit closer.

Rohloff hub, 4 pot hope brakes (with hearts cut into the rotors), Middleburn cranks....

Brilliant! A quick google reveals that this isn't even the weirdest bike the builder has made: https://bikerumor-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/NAHBS-2019_Petor-Georgallou_Dear-Susan-16.jpg

I saw one of his artworks in a museum somewhere.

It was a map of something with all kinds of mtb references.

Kept me entertained 🙂

In his book "Descent of Man" he talks about mountain biking a bit. Some of you may have been overtaken by him on the South Downs Way at some point, probably not on that bike, and probably not wearing that dress.

That tall bike ^ what's with the bottle cage position? Not enough tubes elsewhere to put one on?

That was my first thought as well. Be a fair reach down for a mid-ride drink!

Probably not the most immediate concern I would have if I had to actually ride it though...

Just what I was going to say.
There was also a thread (like, on here, for those who DON'T SUPPORT, sorry READ the mag) about the article iirc.

Brad’s tea hut is where I tipped my helmet to Grayson, having just also read his book. Top chap and on the money about mental health and cycling.

That is one euphemism too far

Like.
I have crossed his path several times in Epping and once at Friston.
Sure the latter occasion it was a hard tail.
