[Closed] Gravity Dropper Post - bit of play normal?

Right - just got a gravity dropper turbo post 27.2. Noticed there is a bit of play in it. ie when you hold the saddle by the nose there is movement (up and down). It is new/straight out of box.

At first I thought the saddle just need tightened, but when I gripped the boot below the clamp I got the same movement/play

It is not that significant, but not what I am used to with even the most bog standard of standard posts.

Any thoughts?

Yep. Mine too. Can't tell when you're riding though.

you can fine tune the collar under the boot at the top of the lower tube, it will get rid of some of the play, but dont over do it as youll end up stopping the pin and holes from lining up perfectly.
