The post wouldnt extend when pushing the remote lever so I was trying to follow this maintenance guide and managed to balls it up in about 5 mins. They weren't kidding when they said aim it away from your face, when i loosened the end cap the spring shot out like an ballistic missile, the guide has pictures of a plastic spacer but as yet i have not located, probably still airborne. for the next step i need the post extended but it won't extend (presumably as there is no spring inside). Is there anyway of extending the tube? getting that spring back in with the post down seems impossible.
cheers
unscrew the 2 allen bolts that attach the mounting for the cable to the post
the pin should come out easily, post will pop up
sweet i'll try this.
this is my fair lady's bike and she aint happy 😳
If its not extending the pin isnt coming out of the inner. Undo the turbo mechanism.
Or send it back for a service and get it back good as new
how did it go?
you will need to find the plastic cap!
