Has anyone used Gravitate Cycles in Newcastle for suspension servicing?

If so, how did you find them?

My Rebas need servicing and they (Gravitate) are (relatively) local to me.

i went in at lunch today to check out some bars and asked about servicing - £95 for a boxxer service which is on par with others i've seen without having to send them off. pretty sure one of my mates has had his done there and he's not reported any problems

Sounds daft but is this a 'proper' service? And not just a lower leg removal.... Because it'd be great to have something local for stuff like that

Thanks, will pop in next time I'm in the Toon

Looks like a proper service to me.

£40 for a lower leg service.

£80 for a full service

You called?

Yup, as P20 says I had my Fox shock done by them this time last year. Great service (was a full service as far as I know), very quick (despite me only giving them 48 hours notice as I was doing an XC race that weekend and I called them on a Thursday afternoon) and they don't need to send them off.

I've been back to them with various other issues on various other bikes and they've always been very helpful and not too expensive.

Bought my Spitfire frame from them. Nice lads.

There's also Cyclefix in Washington and North East Cycleworks in Gateshead.

They did my fox 32 evolution's the other week, £80 for a service. Friendly, swift and survived the Sandstone way this weekend gone. Thumbs up from me.

Took my Five in for them to look at the RP23. Mechanic rode it around, declared it needed a nitrogen charge topup so it would have to go to Mojo. Apparently its cheaper to do it through them, which is good.
However, I took it in last monday, told I'd have it back for friday. I called them, it wasn't ready (note, they didn't call me to say it was delayed). No bouncy bike for the bank holiday weekend.
Called them this week, still nothing. Eventually, I got a call at 5:55pm yesterday to say it was done. Annoyingly not able to get it home today, so its waiting there until next monday.
2 weeks. Not impressed really 🙁

Shame, its a cool shop and the guys in there seem really nice and hopefully the delay was entirely Mojo, but I'm a bit miffed that I had to chase them.

Then there's this:

I found these guys really good considering I heard some negative reviews about them.

When my reverb stealth broke I gave it to them to get it replaced through the warranty process and there was a big delay from fishers and gravitate actually went out and bought me a new reverb stealth and just took the replacement reverb when it eventually returned.

So no complaints from me
