I was strongarmed against my better judgement into a road ride on Saturday. Pulled my gravel/commute/whatever bike (hasn't been used since March) out of the shed, pumped up the rear tyre, only to hear a hiss.
Usually I'd just swear at this, grumble and buy another, were it not for the fact that I'd find an almost identical cut/split on the front a few months back when I shuffled the bikes around.
Had anyone else experienced this?
Tanwall non SK 38c TLC, Japanese made, run tubeless with Stan's, only about a year and 1k ish old. Both the still had some air when stored , leak only apparent when pumped up a bit more
I don't want to buy another if this is only going to happen again. And I'm not comfortable riding a split like that.
To pre-empt:
- Not my drive
- not my lawn
- not a tanwall related hex, no poxes visible on my family
