My birthday approaches and Mrs B wants to buy me some new tyres.
We are doing the Italy divide and Mrs B is running the Riddlers in 45mm 700c.
I have previously used the GK tyres and liked them. Im looking for a wide 700c tyre.
Any thoughts on durability and rolling resistance before i make a choice?

Reports ive heard say riddlers are very puncture prone. GK are generally considered a safe bet but are quite heavy.

Take a look at Bontrager GR1 or GR2. Very nice tyres and have sidewall protection and still come in under 450g in the 40 mm size.

I wouldn't say Riddlers are any more puncture prone than anything else - mine are approaching a year old and we have lots of flints in these parts

In true stw style of only advising what you own. My riddlers have been great, never tried gravel kings.
Don't know if they've punctured as I've only ever used them tubeless though.

I've used Nanos, Riddler and GK. Nano was white offroad, esp in any kind of rut. Riddler was Good. Both Nano and Riddler failed catastrophically with the rubber blistering off the casing and splitting. GK have been great for me.
