Just wondering if anyone uses a pannier rack and a gravelhugger?  Bike is already set up with the gravelhugger and dont want “normal” guards but finding the need of a pannier rack over bikepacking bags.

looks like the rear light plates / frame brace and potentially even the shelf of a pannier rack will foul the hugger but wondering if anyone runs both and what pannier rack they use.

nowhere nearby to try out unfortunately.

I sometimes use a mud hugger on my genesis longitude under a rack. I just bend it down when putting the rack on and secure it to the rack with a few extra holes and zip ties.

It's going to be bike specific.  The chainstays on my gravel bike preclude the use of the rear Gravelhugger as it would be pointing skyward and any rack would have to be on hugely long stays to avoid it.

Tis a Dolan RDX so whilst marketed as a gravel bike its very road esque geo.

Spoke to biketart and took a punt on the  madison ridge. Minimalist frame so will see.

Gravelhuggers are fairly bendy.  I'd say give it a go.  It will probably work.  As above, may have to attach them to avoid them being noisy.
