Anybody on here doing it? Not signed up but they look like fun events and I'm tempted.

Yes. The preliminary course was released a few days ago. 25km. Mostly firetrack with a few bits of single track. Start finish near Coblelands campsite. Took me 1hr 7 mins to do a clockwise lap. I did it both ways as the prelim map didnt show if its CW or CCW.

I used an XC hardtail, and will be using an XC hardtail.

I'll be staying at Coblelands for the weekend as the pits area looks small, so short distance to the campsite.

This is prelim as theres a short section where logging is happening and they need FLS permission to use that part.

Yeah, as a local I wouldn't pay to ride in the area either but echo the above. Good luck to all having a go.

Do they still do the Dukes Weekend thing?

This is the Dukes Weekender thing.

https://www.dukesweekender.com/

But instead of the Dukes Weekender Hill Climb on Saturday and the Enduro on Sunday. Its been binned in favour of the 10hr endurance race. aka Gravelfoyle 10.

It was supposed to be 2 days, with the kids race and family day on Saturday and the main 10hr race on Sunday. But been compressed now into the one single day - the Sunday.

Im not local but ride Aberfoyle regularly. The entry fee isnt a lot, and looking forward to a weekend in Cobleland.....

They should update the website then as this is what it says, "We are keeping the family day on Saturday 14th as well which will see a timed kids race of a 6km route which can be looped twice as a solo or relayed as a pair. "
