[Closed] Gravel / Road Center lock rotor removal

I have a set of Shimano Road hubs (not sure exactly ones) with Shimano GRX center lock rotors attached. It looks like I should be able to use a Cassette removal but the teeth aren't deep enough to reach past the hub (see below).

Right type of tool but need something deeper? Wrong tool?

I think there is a lockring tool with a thinner wall, which fits, but not sure, TBH.
Some kind of tool must have been used to fit it.

My cassette tool is much longer than that and reaches no problem.

If you can get it off, you might find the lockring with the external notches (that uses a BB tool) is easier in future,

Thanks. A bit of browsing on Park Tool suggests that this (very old) tool isn't quite the same as the new(er) ones which have been designed with 12mm axles in mind.

@Scotroutes - Agreed. My MTB has that and it's certainly easier than this.

Off to LBS to find a new tool.....

Ice toolz do a deeper one - I had the same issue.
