They look ok and come in 52mm wide for 45c off road drop baring. My sks are a bit wobbly, wondering if the 'wind tunnel designed' aluminium stays might be a bit sturdier.

I'm not using them but they are very careful to not mention they are plastic construction for the main part just like the SKS.

I'm willing to bet a shiny new pound that changing from steel stays to Ali stays does not make the rest of the guard any more robust.

Shame that pdw don't do the full metal in a 52. I have some wide pdws over 42s but they ain't gonna cover 45s but they truly are rattle /rub/movement free

''flinger' guards are like SKS but with chunkier stays, bit sturdier. Might be worth a look

Had a look at velo orange aswell but they seem a bit more designed to look nice.
