I'm looking at the Zefal Swan mudguard to go on my Gravel bike as I don't want to lose tyre clearance using more traditional mudguards but wonder if the blade on the rear may be too narrow for wider tyres and whilst I'll probably be running mainly 700 x 40 / 43's I may possibly go 650b x 47 / 50 at some stage.
I've had the Zefal RM 60+ on my 29er and it's been brilliant, the only think I don't like about it is because of the design you have to mount it high up the seat post leaving little / no room for rear light / saddle bag ..... the Swan seems to have a different mount and shouldn't suffer the same.
The alternative is the SKS X-Board but they're quite a bit more money and above someone's X--Mas present budget for me.
Don't know if anybody's used them and can comment, I've posted links to both below

I have used them on my CDF for years, with conti cross speed 35's. They work well, though I often remove the rear one for proper off road use as it can bounce off the tyre a bit. The front one (Swan/Croozer) stays on all the time and is quite effective

Have you got the bolt holes for this type? I use these before the winter properly sets in. Great cos you can just yank them off (I said Yank) when not needed...

(Got them for £7 on CRC, so you might find them cheaper... perfect for my Ti Tripster with Dura Ace, I tell ya 😀 )
@iainc ...... Cheers for that !!
@DezB .... Yes I have got bolt holes .... I looked at the ones you linked to but wondered if I may lose clearance for wider tyres, manufacturer says you can run up to 42mm with some reports saying that's conservative and maybe up to 44mm but I'm guessing the numbers are probably without mudguards such as these which would mean I#d have to go smaller.
