I have been looking at getting a gravel/ adventure road bike to do some light touring on. I have looked at various brands and keep coming back to the orange RX9. I would like to see what else is out there and what others are riding.
Can anyone recommend a good gravel / adventure bike for under £1000?
Thanks
Chris
Sonder Camino alloy - expected at the end of the summer and within your budget.
I fancy a cyclocross bike too. I looked into the Orange RX9 but the reviews weren't great. I've one eye on this (beware it's a Boardman!) for £675 I think it looks great.

An aluminium Kona Rove and full touring and bike packing setups?
They seem to the biggest bargain out there.
GT Grade looks fun for lighter weight/faster stuff.
Calibre (go outdoors) do some brilliant bikes for the money!!

@flaps. Gravel/adventure bikes and CX bikes are not the same thing. The 2014 boardman puts you in a more aggressive position, and might be a bit tight on tyre clearance for larger volume gravel tyres.
Great bike, love mine, but best as a CX racer or winter/commuter bike on the road.
Cheap rx9 on the classifieds at the moment.
I keep getting emails about the planet x London road for £699.
Giant Revolt if you don't mind how it looks
Discs and a great frame - wheels aren't great on the cheaper models tho but cartridge bearings on the 1
I just got my Orro Terra Gravel and i love it.
