I've noticed that all the gravel/do it all bikes I see have the same tyres front and back.
Yet with mountain bikes the majority have more aggressive front and fast rolling rear.
So, does anyone mix and match on gravel/hybrid/bike?
Yes wtb 40 on front Vittoria cx 35s (can’t remember exact model ) on rear of one (Mrs kilo has same combo) and 40 terrano paired with another 40c wtb on the front on the other bike
I often run a bigger tyre on the front, generally because I can get a bigger tyre in the fork in than the rear, otherwise I'd probably have them matching.

My hand was forced last night, when I wanted to fit my Beavertail XL mudguards to my Voodoo Marasa, in readiness for today's rain.
But disappointingly, because of the front mech setup with a lot of the mechanism between the seat post and the wheel, there wasn't clearance to keep the rear 37mm Marathon Cross in place.
I swapped it out for a 35mm Randonneur Pro that sizes small, one of a pair I've had for 10 years but barely used at all!
No not on gravel or CX bikes.
Nope, same front and rear. Ultimate front end grip and lower rolling resistance on the rear isn't required on the stuff I ride on a gravel bike.
Even on a gravel/xc focused mtb I'd go for very similar treads front and rear, maybe a little more grip on the front.
It depends on where you ride, it would make some rough tracks around here a bit easier
I've seen it in Austria but they've got a lot of gravel tracks
Shame on the MTB forum that grav now means gravel and not gravity 😉
Same G One Allround, all round.
