on the recommendation of a bearded ss rider off here (RD) me and Mrs Ton will be attending Long Itchington beer festival next weekend.
staying in Priors Marston, so going to get on the canal at Lower Shuckburgh and cycle from there.
is it ok to cycle on? surface wise?

The bit from warwick to L.itchington can get muddy, so i suspect after the weather we've had it'll be a bit gloopy, see if you get past the beers in the two boats Inn( the 1st fest pub you'll pass)
this was my last visit

I used to live just outside Lower Shuckburgh and I can't remember the tow path being much more than foot only.
