Tried to knock the lower Lefty head bearing out of my frame and it collapsed, the inner race, balls and cage ended up on the floor, leaving the outer race stuck in the cup, with no way of getting behind it to press it out.

Made an improvised tool with a big bolt welded to a short flat strip.
Tack welded the flat strip to the race, then tapped it out quickly before too much heat traveled through to the aluminium cup and titanium frame.

After removal.
