I lost a calories challenge at midnight. Endomondo appears to have very basic way of calculating calories burnt.

OK I know I would have lost anyway, but it logs speed and altitude and you can type in average HR...but it appears to use only distance and activity (and perhaps weight?) to calculate your calories.

Do any sites use more data?

if you go down the HRM route, via a garmin upload

fetcheveryone.com

still never going to be 100% tho, look in detail at calorie counting and you will soon see its a minefield.

Get a blue tooth HRM chest strap, that's my next purchase It'll save me using both my phone and HRM and will give a far more accurate reading on Endomondo.

Endomondo isn't too far off when it comes to calories burnt, on average about 200 or so less compared to my HRM.

Just do more running / cycling, then you'll definitely win the calorie challenge!

Bluetooth HRM will integrate with Endomondo.

I don't think HRMs are accurate either...

so short of wiring yourself up fully and using monitored breathing apparatus.....

(which could prove a little, er, unfashionable for my average ride)

how much and what sort of data would you like a website to accept?
