Found what looks like a good deal on Merlin for a pair of Continental Grand Prx 4000s 700x23 tyres for £51.95 however there's no mention of being folding kelvar bead.
Anyone know if there is such a thing as Wire Bead GP4000s or will they all be folding?

Kevlar for sure. There's a newer version out so maybe sellers are trying to shift stock.

not sure, but evans do the folding version for £26.99 online and will match that price in store if you ask nicely (as I did a few weeks ago)

The reason they are cheap is because they are 23c. Everyone is moving to 25c these days because they offer (marginally) less rolling resistance and they are more comfortable.

The transition is a bit like the migration of wheel sizes in mountain bikes....

Well they have the 25cs for £27.50 each - I was contemplating getting a pair.

They're a very good tyre at a very good price. What's not to like.

AFAIK there isn't a wire bead version of the 4000S and the Conti website agrees.
