Is it as good as its predecessor ? I liked a lot of Gore Bike Wear products, they seemed well thought out and good quality. But the Gore Wear stuff just doesn’t look as good to me, maybe a bit cheaper looking. And I don’t really like the whole branding thing, Gore Wear just sounds a bit naff? Having the brand clumped in with the XC ski and running gear etc makes it seem a lot less of a focused cycling brand , or maybe I’m wrong. Was it always that way.
Its still the same stuff, and the couple of recent purchases I've made haven't had any visible drop in quality.
Instead of being Gore Running Wear and Gore Bike wear its now
- Gore C for cycling
- Gore R for running
There's three ranges within each classification, with C3 being the "casual"(ish) stuff, C5 being the "enthusiast" and C7 being the "pro-level" kit. The C3 stuff would seem less cycling focussed, with looser fit etc making it look more like general gym/fitness gear. The C7 stuff is slim fit, tailored for the cycling position etc.
