Just been to Kirroughtree and Glentrool with 5 and 7 year olds doing the green/blue routes.

fancied getting a bit of footage of them POV and me going ahead and standing at a corner.

few years ago sj4000 was the best gopro alternative. Is this still the case or is the something better now?

Not wanting to spend loads of money as it just for a mess about. also Wifi/blue tooth transfer to phone for editing would be good.

(I still us an SJ4000 so this is purely anecdotal)

The Apeman 4k seems to be well rated at the moment, and would probably be what I'd go for if I was upgrading in the budget price bracked (about £50 on eBay I think). Add in a cheap chest mount and mini tripod from eBay (and whatever other mounts you fancy) and you're well away.

I don't think it's 'proper' 4k, but the 1080 footage is meant to be pretty decent and it supposedly has good stabilisation too.

Or some type of chest mount for the mobile phone that you probably carry with you absolutely everywhere already?

just a thought like.

A good option to the SJ4000 is teh M10. Its a bit more cube like but easier to use and has a Wifey option.

I've got the 4000 and the m10+ for commuting duties.

much better battery life on the m10.

dont think they sell the m10 anymore. And you might struggle to find replacement cases.

their m6 is well regarded, afair.

there was a thread on here recently about the heavily discounted go pro session5. I'd be looking at one of those if I didn't already have the sjcam's as it's light enough (sub 100g) to mount on your bike helmet.

amother contender is the Polaroid cube act 2 from amazon. Deal extreme sell the waterproof cases for a tenner (kingma).

I like the Wifey option, is it for yours or anybody’s?

Dirty boy.
