Was thinking about getting the above, can get one for £200. Seems little point in paying over £100 more for the black edition, is there much difference between the two?

Depends how much of a 'power user' you are I reckon. Apart from apparently superior low light performance most of the advantages of the black edition are in lots of options for different resolutions and frame rates etc. More designed for people producing pro videos or keen amateurs really IMO.

The Black edition also comes with a wifi remote. If you buy one for a Silver edition it's about £70 extra.

Yeah hadn't thought of that. I just use the iPhone app with mine.
