My son is keen on getting a GoPro or similar for his Xmas present. We have already bought him some presents so wondered whether there were any models which were of similar quality but cheaper?

Just looking into this myself.

Was looking at the Hero4 Session but found a similar product from Polaroid for around 50% less.

Thanks for the link, lots of options listed but no definitive answer. I had preciously identified the SJ4000 so will take another look at that.

I got a Sony Action Cam from Santa last year & can't fault it at all.

Aldi or Lidl were also selling a go pro clone recently.

I would steer clear of the aldi one.Footage is woeful.My mate has a HP one and it's a bit better.Think for the. Cheaper option an Sj4400 is best,
