Hi guys
I'm hoping to borrow a Go Pro 2 for a trip to the Alps. But I wont get much time to figure out so have been looking at many GoPro forums so I know how to use it quickly.
But I cant find best settings for biking. Seems to be a difference between original hero settings and gopro 2 settings. Some said to go on 4:3 setting as thats taller, but others on GoPro 2 saying to shoot on 720 widescreen.
Whats people's thoughts? IS there a difference between original and 2 for field of view? How easy is it to shoot on 4:3 and then convert to widescreen?
Also thinking of using iPhone 4s to shoot panoramics etc. Any suggestions of settings to ensure they all play nice together when edit into a final clip?
If you are using the 2 go for the 1080p 30FPS setting. Field of view can be 170 or 127 degrees if wearing on your lid. 170 is the standard angle you see on most vids.

I use mine slung down from my helmet in upside don mode. Lets me get the bars in with a lower angle. I use it in 720 48fps 4:3, again it gets the handle bars and more of the horizon in the shot, last thing you want is a video with no reference like your visor or bars in it. No one wants to watch a trail fly over for 15minutes
