having some trouible putting the fittings onto the hose as the instructions are a bit vauge. so far i have removed 11mm of the outer casing, opened the plastic inner up slightly with a punch to flare it open, put the collar onto the braided section, threaded the fitting into the hose untill it stops.
the instructions then say to thread the collar onto the fitting untill it is 1.5mm away from the fitting and do not over tighten, this is finger tight, if i leave it like this its loose and can easily tightern the collar until it touches the fitting. what am i doing wrong?
fitted to the bike and tested and it does not leak at all?
