With all of the parts sold off, and as I await my new Bird Zero TR frame, it's finally time to lay the Soul down. I thought about selling it, but I think burying it (in the loft) in full Hope livery is a better idea. Then, in 10 years time when 26" is the latest thing and modern geometry is seen as a laughable mistake, I can proudly get it back out.
So long, old friend... for now.
(I'm burying the Salsa forks with her in case 1 1/8th doesn't make a come back.)

And, as an aside how many old (i.e. 26") Soul owners have switched to Zeros?
I sold my Mk2 to an enthusiastic younger rider about 6 months ago.
I'd replaced it much earlier with a Soul275 but held off selling the 26er for ages before deciding I was being silly. Kinda with I hadn't still, but as I reasoned, it's highly unlikely I'd ever rebuild it so it's having a better life as is.
A Soul V is very likely on the horizon, but there's personal reasons for keeping my 275 this time.
