My boys (4&7) love riding the trails at Callendar Estate, by Falkirk and the Blue trail at Loch Ore Meadows.
Can anyone recommend anywhere similar? The Laggan Green is too short to be worth the effort.
Rothiemurchus?
GT green and blue?
rothiemurcus is a good shout tho
Comrie can be lapped time and again. Perfect day out.
Cambusbarron has good trails - a local guide may be worth having as some can be quite challenging, but others a kid friendly.
Loch Ard area has some nice rides - a bit plantation forest, but nice paths and bits of singletrack.
Loch Drunkie above Aberfoyle, along loch Venechar and the forest drive have various nice trails, not too tech and not too hilly - but a giggle and feel more remote than they are.
Carron Valley is all rideable by little ones - they may need a helpful push up the steep bit of the climb.
Glentress definately.
Plean Country park also has ace trails.
Yep. GT Green and Blue are great, and the 7yo has ridden quite a bit of the red. GT is going to be busy this weekend though.
We might give Rothiemurcus a go. Loch an Eilean, that kind of thing. I just worry some bits might be too stony for the 4yo on his 16" wheeled bike.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks Matt. We've done a few of those with the FollowMe. I always seem to find the climb at Comrie a challenge for the kids. We could give it another go. Carron Valley too, and will check out Plean.
They like the wee Aberfoyle bike park too.
Start Drunkie area from the Venechar side.
