Caad8 for me at that money. I had one for two years and it was superb.

If you're really tall.

Plenty of choice here.

Westbrook cycles usually have some offers on.
Picked a Scott up on sale from them last year and got cashback through Quidco.
Double win

I do a little bike snobbery in me and can't get my head around Claris. I was sort of hoping for Tiagra spec

£600 is very close to deal on last years Giant Defy 1 or 2

Check out Rutland Cycling.. they also have a 2015 Defy 3 for £399.

Does anyone have any reviews on the decathlon road bikes ?

Not those specific ones but they are generally very well reviewed, I've seen them in the flesh and they look like a good bit of kit from what I can work out, I'm currently debating the 105 version for my wife. My dad has the older version of the bike and it's very good indeed. Reasonably relaxed geometry, light frame that seems very well finished and even the own brand finishing kit isn't that bad. His only problem came from the in-house wheels which was fixed by a tighten up from my tame wheel builder.

Edit, good review on road.cc of the Sora build, they seem it like it a lot.

I've got a 54cm one of these I bought to stick on a turbo trainer, but has never been used!

[img] [/img]

It's a 2014 Saracen Tenet 3, pretty much full Tiagra 4600 (exception is chainset and calipers) so it's 10spd. Hydroformed ally frame, carbon fork, Schwalbe tyres etc. Was originally £950 when they were current.

Yours for £450 + postage if you were interested.
