[Closed] Good riding routes around Wooler, Northumberland?

Hi All,
A group of us are spending the weekend in Wooler Youth Hostel. We're all pretty new to the area and after some decent riding routes in the area. Saw in a guide book that there's a 4x track that's now closed down(?) and it also mentioned 'trails in surrounding woods' without any more details. Don't really want to spend the day wandering through bracken and bogland looking for stuff, so if anyone has links, routes, os map references, tips on riding in the area that would be fantastic.
A good mix of up and down and nothing too death marchy would be ideal.
