I have recently moved to ashton and wondered if anybody knew of any good routes around the area or surrounding area.
I can cycle to Hartshead pike from my house which takes me to saddleworth.
Done the diggle jiggle yesterday which incorporated a large amount of the PBW however all the climbing was good much of the route was tarmac and a bit tame.
If anybody has any pointers it would be most appreciated

Head towards Stalybridge and up on to Hobson moor, some good cheeky stuff up there.
Would be interested in this as well, i've been pouring over the map, but whats on the map doesnt match up with google earth and tbh alot looks cheeky, there's very few bridleways it seems, the net not brought much up either.
This months mag has a route in it thats just over the hill in Marsden, which ive done in the past (similar anyway) and thats a good little ride.
Theres the Diggle Jiggle ride on the National Trails website but that looks pretty tame tbh.
