Tried Delamere but my 6 yr old struggles with the rough surface and the fact its not 100% flat. She's not very courageous and i'm trying to get her to enjoy riding her bike without pushing her (it ends in tears and walking)so can someone recommend a great big, flat, smooth area she can bomb along on? Preferably in West Cheshire.
Thanks
You've options in either direction. You could try picking up the trans Pennine trail in Lymn. Wide and flat. Ideal for bombing along.
Another good option is the seafront at New Brighton. A great way to combine cycling with a general day out too
Go ride at llandegla every saturday morning, BC coach's
The cycle path from Queensferry to Cester by the river dee will be ideal. It's a good way off the actual river 😉
Nice smooth cycle ways around Acton Bridge by the river Weaver as well.
Marbury Park? Just out by Anderton.. It's flat, & fun.. And loads to go at.
I was just going to say that!
Another recommendation for Marbury, loads of riding on nice smooth pathways, no real hills to speak of and nice scenery!
Sustrans Cheshire cycle way is well flat
