Hello I've been out of the bike world for a few years but like everyone else I've got the odd afternoon spare.

I'm looking for advice on getting a 26in front wheel with 20mm throu axles and a rear to match 10 speed slx disk hubs
The nipples have pulled through on the ones I have I'm guessing due to metal reaction aluminum/steel.

Any recommendation of a shop that still works in 26inch.

Thanks

Anyone who builds wheels can do that, the hubs are the same for all the wheel sizes (boost and axle size obviously different ), you just need a source for a new rim, and spokes, but a wheel builder will know where to get them.

Hope still do 26" wheels, obviously there is eBay where you can pick up the usual suspects NOS or second hand.

If you mean the spokes have pulled through the rim you can just buy new rims and rebuild them. A rim swap is pretty easy, either DIY or through a shop.

If you want to replace the whole thing then look second hand. Plenty of bargains out there now.

Thanks all I did consider new rims and a home build but I've tried it before to very little success.
I will have a hunt around as I've still got my piglet to use in the short term and after having a short spin today the bike bug is back

Many thanks stay safe

We have several 26” options. Still build plenty.
