Been offered a Rock Lobster 17'' B52 Frame at a good price

Paint job needed big time.

Anyone know if they're any good?

Cheers

Very good capable frame, I've been looking for one to replace my P7 but they don't come up often. Basically its a cove stiffee with the same Easton Rad front triangle. I have a mate with one and he likes it a lot.

Tough as old boots type of frame, I always fancied one but bought a Planet X Armadillo (which now sits unused in the shed).

Looking at building a hardtail from scratch, starting with a good frame.

Havn't got a lot of money, and have set myself quite a low budget.

This is inside budget, just!

I'm so, so tempted!

Get it if its a bargain, it's a nice looking frame, especially if you are going to paint it to get rid of the original cat-sick yellow. The rear stays are quite nice hydroformed (?) units.

Got a mate who does resprays on cars and said he'd do it at cost.

The seller admits it needs a new paint job.

Think i'll have it!

Thinking Matt black for the respray!
