Cycling to the station this morning, it's wet and foggy. Descending a road near me and round the junction at the bottom I find my neighbour who also cycles to the station. He's obviously had a front wheel washout and gone done hard - on his head. A couple in a car witnessed it and said he bounced too 😯 Knowing what I do of him, he was pretty confused and talking rubbish, not a good sign, so an ambulance was called. We keep him talking, stop him drinking / eating and also stopped him calling his wife - no point worrying her unduly until a professional has seen him at the roadside. 20 minutes later it arrived and they confirmed that they were 'taking him in'. That left me to sort out his bike, which I've arranged to pick up later from some nice people in who live in the road tonight.

So good deed done and I continue to the station, where karma kicks me in the butt by breaking the trains! Still, that pales to insignificance whith what could have happened.

Healing vibes to Lee

Could be you had your karmic kickback in advance. It works that way a lot I think.

So karma gave you a bit of time off work

Well karma sucks then! If it gives me time off work, I'd prefer it wasn't stuck on a train who's doors wouldn't open!

If it wasn't for your karmic kickback, you'd probably be the poor bugger lying on the track.

Mrs Feet just called and this morning's casualty is back home. They don't think he has concussion, but has a face like chopped liver!

Leant my spare washing machine to a friend as he's working away from home for a bit, having stored it at my parents for the past 6 months.

Theirs broke 2 weeks later!
