Heading over there tomorrow with Mrslister and I notice that the DropOff Bus isn't there, so can you recommend any good cafes or pubs between Brechfa and Carmarthen please.

Personally I would start the ride at Abergorlech as well. I find the Red route best, but you can still link onto the black from there.
