Want to upgrade my wife's bike a little. She has a pair of the standard Wellgo pedals, was just wondering what's a decent pair of cheap flats these days?
Ta.
Well, the usual answer is Superstar Nanos, but Carbon Cycles do the same thing cheaper. However Chain Reaction are doing Saints v. Cheap. In fact I don't know why I told you ,- rushes off to order pair.
Get the Saints from CRC, at £33 they are unrivalled.
edinburgh bikes have some own-brand ones at £20, they're very good.
DMR V8's are pretty bombproof, but decent pedals. Halfords are presently doing them for £22.49 at the moment
I got some Saints a couple of weeks ago from CRC for £32.
Lovely looking pedals but unfortunately the RH pedal had loads of play in the axle straight out of the box.
CRC have replaced them but I was a little disappointed.
If I was buying again I'd just get Nanos or the Carbon cycle version.
The saints look delicious, but not sure she'll get the use out of them.
nukeproof electrons £31
Wellgo MG-1 relatively light pedal and can usually be found for around £25 - £35
Saints, it is!
