Hi everybody,

I'm going to London in a couple of days and I'm wondering if anybody could tell me some cool bike shops in the centre (or not far away at least).

I would like to buy some mtb clothing, especially Race Face and/or Fox shorts and jerseys. Does anybody know some shops with a lot of choice?

Thanks!

For Fox clothing you're probably best heading for cyclesurgery in Holborn.

not sure if you are aware, but 'London' is quite a big spread out place...

He does say in the centre... which isn't that big or spread out really.

Evans on Waterloo road probably has a fair bit of Fox stuff as it is a MTB specialist one.

Yep, the Surgery has a decent range of Fox. The Victoria one has a proper mtb nut as a manager well worth a look. Also worth checking out his hair. It NEVER moves!

🙂

Thank you guys, I'll try the shops you mentioned.

And yes, I know that London is big. It's not my first trip there. 🙂

If anybody else know some good shop don't hesitate!

Thanks

On Your Bike at London Bridge is always good for a mooch around. Also go to the massive Decathlon a couple of tube stops at Canada Water.

Good luck.

London is heavily biased towards the commuter. I went looking for some MTB (Fox) gear once, specifically to Evans Waterloo where the member of staff bemoaned the fact that the Evans area manager was chasing the commuter dollar. Could have had anything Altura etc but the Fox range was very limited considering Fox put out some pretty funky stuff but all that Evans had was a few black or otherwise plain jersey's.

Try on a few pieces to see hwat size you are in Fox before ordering online. In their Freeride gear I droped a size to what I would normally wear because I guess it's designed to go over body armour.
