I’ve found Altura Airstream short sleeved jerseys ok - not too expensive and I don’t find I sweat overly in them. They are a road fit though (but not silly small like the Italian makes) - most t shirts I wear are a medium - but I had to go large with these and it’s still snug ish - without looking like a stuffed salami. Nice long zip on the front for when it’s hot too.

Last week I bought - and use today - a Galibier Equipe available in different colours.   Very, vey awesome and with the best stay-in-place-anti-sag pockets I've ever used.    I wouldn't be wearing it for MTB though, its very thin, but I would look at the Galibier kit - this and the gloved I have are all very high quality.

My most recent search led me to these. I bought one of each colour (they were £25 when I bought mine, I'm sure)

Very impressed so far. Good wicking, full zip for venting and perfect pocket arrangement. Fairly subtle styling, too. They're a little tighter over teh gunz than some, but not uncomfortable.

Recommended.

If you're a sweaty individual recommend something like this (even when it's baking)

Undervest

Endura https://www.endurasport.com - but you might have to dig around their site, I managed a few bargains a couple of days ago.

Predictably, Galibier have been recommended.
If it's for road use, would also suggest Lusso and Prendas (Santini); not many in their full price offerings that fit your price range but Lusso have a clearance range and Prendas have 'offers'.

Bought the Peleton Jersey from here last week as I wanted a "proper" fitted type XC/Road Jersey for once - it's really nice, and half price at £20 with the code FITPIXIE which I got from this forum.

Dead pleased with the sundried kit as I bought some bibs a few months back too, mega value at half price!
