I’ve been trying and failing to find a gilet that fits the bill for months now. I’ve got an old Gore Bike Wear Alp X jacket with zip off sleeves made from windstopper material that is pretty much bang on what I’m after (apart from the black colour). I’m trying to replace this but struggling to find anything that isn’t black or flouro yellow. I want something I can use for Enduro, Gravel & Road. My criteria are:
- Reasonably well-cut fit
- Bright colour (orange preferably) as said, most offerings seem to come in black or flouro yellow
- Windstopper type material not insulated or roubaix
- Jersey pocket stuffable
I’ve tried endura pro lite (too lightweight), Endura windchill (too warm) and Rivelo Rowsley (fit doesn’t seem great for me). Can STW recommend anything else, I’m obviously not doing a great job or picking things!

Wouldn’t recommend my le col sport one - fits nice but really not very breathable at all.

Galibier Izoard?

Packs up tiny, ace stretchy fit and is bright orange (std version is reversible, pro version isn't).

Stolen goat also do a great line of stuff too.

I like my Stolen Goat windproof gilet - stripes, rather than orange, but neither yellow or black. On the back there’s a pocket and slots either side to access jersey pockets. There’s often stuff in their Outlet section.

Rapha one in red, in the sale too.

Altura Airstream one is lightweight, windproof but breathable. Cheap too.

DHB kit is good, I'd order a few and just return what you don't want.

I've Not got one but how's about a Galibier GrandTour Foul weather Gilet?

Comes in white for visibility, has pockets isn't insulated... Worth a look for £70
