Thinking of changing from Alivio 3X9 to Xt 1x11 seeing as it's at a very affordable £180.
Will it be a straight swap or will I need a new rear hub.
Bikes a 2015 Giant Stance.

Same hub, just check that your cranks can be swapped to 1X, you may need shorter bolts.

Yeah mine are 4 bolt like the deore on my (missus's) winter Hardtail. Just confused with the options for front ring a cassette options teeth wise. Need it to be OK on climbs.

Bang a 30t ring on if you're worried about climbs and a 11-42 cassette
