I'm planning on going 1x10 tomorrow - i've got a 30T chain ring so I guess the chain is going to be shorter than my current 36T double ring setup.
Is it still stick it round the two biggest cogs with out the mech and add two whole links? Or is there some special 1x10 set up approach?

Check for any suspension related chain growth too. Set chain length at max tension.
