<p style="text-align: left;">I've been carrying the same Gobi XM across several bikes for the best part of a decade but I think despite the cover being perfect still the foam is pretty shot now.</p>
Appears they don't make 'em anymore and I'm quite keen to try a shorter nose saddle. Can any Gobi enthusiasts comment on what they like at the moment?

Used to use a Gobi XM across a few bikes too. Currently running a few Ergon SM Comps and they're the comfiest saddle I've ever known so maybe try one of those. Totally different saddle shape to the XM but does work for me.
I went from Selle Italia Flite Alpes to Fizik Gobi to Specialized Power Expert 130.
Ths Power Expert requires that you measure your sit bones to get the right size.
It's a revelation.
