I bought my Silver 3 off of Ebay (not that seller) and thought I'd hit a problem when the camera went tits up doing a firmware update a few months after I got it. No such problem though, contacted Gopro tech support and after exchanging a few emails sent it off and had it replaced with a brand new shiny one! Just had to show proof of purchase and serial number as I remember.
