Really wanted to share this with you all. Little one had a Christmas school trip today until 2:30. This meant I had a bit more time than usual today. Struggled with motivation to do anything this morning, but in the end just did it.

I loaded my bike up and jumped in the gnusmobile. I went and did the blue route in Brechfa. Took a while to get round, but felt great. Awesome ride, i think it has reignited my spark of mtbing again. All I need to do now is shift this extra weight and keep on bimbling 😁

Thanks everyone, really means a lot. I have had a hectic week last week, but knew this day was coming. A really nice lady even helped put the Xmas tree up with the kids on Sunday so even that is sorted. She has been a massive help all round with me and the kids in the past couple of weeks.

Feeling OK at the moment, best day in an extremely long time. I know that could change at any point, so trying to make the most of it while it is good.

Spot on......if there are times when everything is too much, absolutely you deserve to be able to enjoy the times when it all falls into place as well.

Thanks all, it honestly and genuinely means a lot. I know it might not be a major thing to most people, but it's a huge deal to me. Not as good a day today, but still not too bad. Counselling for me tomorrow though. Will see how it goes.

Yaris's are great - will swallow loads. Even had a 'complete' road bike in ours - i.e. wheels and mudguards still on.

Good job - but please get a liner or a tarp for the poor Gnusmobile 🙁

Alan - I've found a local ride in road in the midst of a busy day can be ace. Riding has very few downsides, is always worth it.

Mogrim - will do, already thought of that. This was one of those 'it's happening' moments.

Matt - tried that the other week, nearly got knocked off by a man in a white van within 15 mins. Shook me up a bit with all sorts of thoughts running through my head. Will get out again, need to find a way of mounting a remote grenade launcher to my Stiffee first.

Don't do this.
