I have warm hands, so have never required full on winter gloves, during autumn/spring I use some sombrio summer gloves and during winter I've been reliant upon Endura Dexter's as they're warm enough once I get going and not bulky so I still feel human and not like I'm in a Jim Henson workshop
However, these are reaching the end of their well used life and need replaced.
I'd like something a little more waterproof but not bulky and am wondering if I should just stick with Endura's and get a pair of Strikes, or go for something different?
Thanks
May be worth looking at Specialized Deflects, my choice for Spring/Autumn, but not quite warm enough for me in the depths of winter.Good enough for me to pay through the nose for, when I can get a lot of other brands at trade prices.
Best lightish weight but useable on cold day gloves I've used are Dakines White Knuckle.
Still give you good dexterity and control operation.
great, thanks, any more suggestions would be appreciated.
If you do have warm hands then Scott Minuses are super thin yet still warm. Just windproof though, not waterproof, but they do keep some of the worst off. I need to wear liners under mine, but I have real trouble keeping hands and feet warm while riding.
Bit on the pricey side but i use Gore windstoppers. With Gore you actually see and feel where the money goes. They fit so well and last so long it really is not a false economy buying them.
For very cold days i just bang on a pair of silk liners i got for a fiver from ebay.
Very happy with my Spesh Windchills that I've had for a couple of years. The latest version is a bit more water resistant and the cuff is longer so look even better.
+1 for Dakine White Knuckle
