As title, looking to replace some Endura MTB gloves which have worn through on the fingertips.

Would like some padding on the palm. Have seen these, but only available in lime green in my size, would prefer non-lairy colours.

Bargains also preferred 🙂

Thanks in advance

Pop into your local homebase!

They are selling of some of the Mechanix range of gloves for dirt cheap. They are basically the same as bike gloves without the ridiculous markup..

These are £6.75 with no velcro cuff but are fine for riding in

Or there are these for £10 with a velcro cuff

I've ridden with both and they are spot on so I cleared the shelf and stocked up at my local store

Thanks, appreciate the left field suggestions. Unfortunately my local homebase has closed down 🙁

Am sure someone else can get them cheaper - but we got the lad a set of fox dirtpaws for £9

I've tried generic mechanics gloves. Like arse are they the same.
My go to trail gloves are Troy Lee XC and Fox Ranger. Both fit really nicely with a nice balance of protection and feel. Both usually under 20 quid.

Another vote for fox ranger. Fit, well, last well and under £20. They do padded and inpadded versions

Fox ranger again. Mine have worn through at the fingertips now, but lasted a lot better than Endura

Thanks folks. I've gone for the Fox Ranger padded. I may even pick up some of the Troy Lee as a second pair for that money!

Cheers

I have always been disappointed with any gloves other than Fox. They either seem to fall to bits or the palms stretch out.  That being said I have been impressed with my 100% winter gloves after a few rides so would been keen to try their summer gloves if they do one with a velcro wrist closure.

For someone with big but skinny hands and long fingers, Fox and some recent alpine stars are the only ones that have fitted well. Alpinestars are really good and only cost around £12 from memory.
